The Government Finance Profession is running main two training events for its members this year. One for Trainees in September and the other for Qualified Accountants in November.
The GFP Trainees' Event was held at Birmingham University on 13th and 14th September 2011.
This conference was open to all AATs (Finance Technicians) and CCAB trainee accountants (Trainee Finance Professionals) in central government departments, agencies and NDPBs, the NHS or Local Government - in fact, anyone employed in the public sector who is formally training or interested in taking up a career in finance.
Our programme offers approximately 16 hours of structured training and mentoring. We line up a variety of sessions covering accountancy developments in both public and private sectors, as well as academic and professional topics to ensure that there is something of interest for everyone.
The GFP Qualifieds' Conference will be held at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on 3rd and 4th November 2011.
Our ever popular Qualifieds' conference will be held on the 3rd and 4th of November 2011. This year it will be over two full days (Thursday 10:00 to 18:00 and Friday 09:00 to 16:00). It is open to all qualified accountants in central government departments, agencies and arms length bodies.
