Talent Deployment

Deployment is an important aspect of talent management, and job rotation and job enrichment are vital aspects of experiential learning in becoming a leader.

Failure to deploy talent effectively, both in respect to the individual and the organisation, can lead to employee engagement and commitment problems later on.

From an organisational point of view talent should be deployed in the key business areas that it is needed. Any succession planning strategy should link into talent management at this point.

The individuals career aspirations should also be considered to ensure that the role can form part of a continuing development pathway in line with career management plans.
